 WORKSHOP ABSTRACT:

Integrating Spiritual Care in Medical Practice

God’s plan for us is that our faith be fully incorporated into every aspect of our life. Unfortunately, many of us never quite figure out how to integrate our faith in medicine and what we do doesn’t look much different from others. The result is that we have a minimal impact for God’s kingdom. So how should it look? What can we do? This workshop will provide us with simple steps we can take to move towards fully integrating our faith into practice regardless of specialty.

 WORKSHOP ABSTRACT:

Making Tough Choices: From Medical Student to Medical Missions

The choices we make as students and residents shape the direction of our lives. Join Dr. Parsa as he uses his own life stories and missions experience to walk us through these decisions. By the end of this talk, you’ll have a better understanding of how to know God’s plan and the enemies tactics to derail us from it, giving us the tools we need to stay in the center of God’s will as we make these tough life choices.
